This painting, made in the landscape genre, depicts the Registan square, which consists of three madrasas (Ulug`bek, Tillakori and Sherdor). The artist showed this square, which is the official center of the ancient city of Samarkand, crowded with tourists, because all three madrasahs attract the viewer with their colorful tiled decorations, ornate facades and unique domes. The blue color was leading in the work. The decorations in the buildings and the color of the sky are harmonious and create a unique landscape. We are once again convinced that these powerful mausoleums with their unique decoration are the masterpieces of Eastern architecture.
