Representing true delicacy and elegance, this dagger has a total length of 48 cm and a blade of 33 cm. The scabbard (sheath) of this dagger, which attracts one's attention at first sight, is made of melihyor. Traditional methods of processing and decoration of the dagger are used: grinding, polishing, engraving, blacking. Its handle is cast from brass and resembles the shape of "H" in the Latin alphabet (typical of the weapons of the Ottoman Empire, Sudan, Egypt, Eritrea in the 18-19 centuries). At first glance, the cross-section of the dagger's central rib, in the form of a curved, flattened diamond, can be seen to add to its appeal.
