This mehrab is carved in the wall facing the Kaaba, has an arched, semi-dome, rectangular shape, decorated with “muqarnas” on top, framed in a circle. Muqarnas are formed by overlapping arched bowls. The ends of the arches with a curved surface are brought forward, forming a support for the upper row. It looks like the angles give an equilateral triangle.
