Umarov Mirzayunus Zhorayevich was born on May 14, 1954 in the city of Kokand, Fergana region, in an intelligent family. He received his primary education at the 6th secondary school of the city of Kokand. After graduating from school in 1971, his intense creative activity began. He first started working as a wood carver in the "Art Workshop". After his creative abilities were highly appreciated by those around him, he also worked for a while as a woodcarver in the “Usto” club. During his creative period, he also found time to teach his art and skills to his students. Since 1994, he worked as a teacher at the 5th children's art school for nine years. Currently, the talented artist is an honorary member of “Hunarmandlar”. The master tried to preserve the national spirit and traditional art in his creations and further improve it. He turned to new methods and solutions. That is why the products made by the master are popular among the people to this day.
