About work
This work is in the animalistic genre and is made on a blue background. In the center of the work, we can see a lion with the sun coming out of his shoulder. This unique image was used for the first time in the Sherdar madrasa of old Samarkand. Later, it attracted the interest of many artists. The artist tried to show the antiquity of our nation by bringing this image to the fore. The lion is painted in red. An almond pumpkin, a sun made into narrow eyes is rising from his shoulder.
In the lower part, the deer chasing the lion are drawn in pencil. If we look carefully, we can clearly observe their dynamics. The real sun is shining on the right side. Behind the lion is the largest minaret of Bukhara, "Minorai Kalon". This led to the creation of a perfect composition.
