About work
Persian miniatures were very popular in the world of visual arts in the 13th-19th centuries. This work is a copy of the miniature of Sadi's "Boston", one of the examples of Persian art. The composition is created on the basis of an amazing visual system. In its plot, a young prince in love is depicted with musicians. The dynamics of the dancer, the folds in the clothes predict her movements in advance. None of the characters look directly at the viewer. Bright colors are used in Calorite, while gold color is used in the background. A special place on two sides is reserved for Arabic and poetic writings. The composition of the work is somewhat complicated. It is dominated by an elegant decorative sense, and the work combines colors and shapes on a flat surface to create a single rhythmic whole.
