The work consists of a simple plot, which depicts high mountains, an endless field and an old tree. In it, the artist tried to give an impression of the autumn season. An old tree without leaves in the foreground reminds a person of his life. Just take a look and you will feel how fast your life is passing, the blossoming youth is like a green tree. Even though the hills are still green, the yellowing leaves and grass seem to make this old tree look even more majestic. On a small path that seems to be a village on the side of a mountain, an old man is coming down the hill in a velvet cloak. Trying to understand the feelings of the artist in this process, the viewer involuntarily tries to understand the transience of life and the value of human dignity.
