About work
This picture, made in the domestic genre, talks about an old, but still not lost, building. The work consists of two parts, the first part depicts the site of a pond that was once filled with water, but now has dried up. Usually, such ponds were used for storing water, drinking, and ablution for Muslims who came to pray. The second part is the main part, which is occupied by an old mosque building that has not lost its integrity. The simple, small mosque building without any decorative decorations has been serving the local population for many years. The fact that its walls have been whitewashed, the light of green leafy trees on the surface of the yard, and the neatness of the yard indicate the respect and attention of Muslims towards it. The artist reflected the decorative features of the mosque, unique unusual forms and organic connection with the surrounding landscape in separate lines. The dome and roof of the mosque were built using wood. The wooden pillars along the corridor also increased its dignity. The artist has skillfully depicted the most complex patterns, small but expressive details of the form, which are connected to each other with unique patience and determination in the simple appearance of the construction, clearly and without even approaching the distance. This shows that he is the owner of high skill.
