We know that the introduction of Arabic writing to Central Asia led to the development of the art of calligraphy. Especially during the reign of the Timurid and Shahbani dynasties, this art developed at a high level. Now calligraphers began to use this art widely not only in books, but also in huge monuments. We can witness the creation of a beautiful piece of art in the upper mihrab, skillfully using the art of calligraphy. The mihrab is divided into three parts, and the parts are separated from each other by golden lines. In the first part, samples from the Qur'anic verses are skillfully written in dark blue, while in the second part, the words "Allah" are written in golden color among fine decorations on the right side, and "Muhammad" on the left side in the same way. The word "La ilaha illallah, Muhammadur rasulullah" is written in gold in a green circular shape in the center.
