About work
At first glance, we can see that the artist has captured the beauty of living nature in this work. The colors are harmonious, the intensity of the water flowing from the stones is revealed through the bubbles in the lower part. We can feel the revitalization of life and the desire to live through the tree that grows above the rocks.
The waterfall depicted in the picture has its own history. As we know, Czarist Russia entered the territory of Turkestan through Kazakhstan through thick forests and mountains. At that time, the villagers hid the young girls in the stream that passed by the mountain hill in order to protect them from the enemy attack. During the fight, some bodies fall into the stream and the girls see blood in the stream. The girls, who were afraid of losing their father and brothers, shook the mountain and fell on top of the girls. The guys who won over the enemy go to pick up the girls. Unfortunately, none of the girls were left. For this reason, the names of Kizilsuv stream, Kizilsuv village, and Kizilsuv waterfall appeared. This waterfall is embodied in the painting.
